Emissions Inventory

EQ2 provides advanced emissions inventory compilation for internal, regulatory and public body disclosure. EQ2 helps organisations calculate their carbon dioxide, total greenhouse gas, and specific air, land and water emissions and chemical releases.

We provide direct emissions measurement, collecting energy use and process emissions data and applying the right emission factors to the data (e.g. GHG Protocol, UK Defra, EPA AP 42.). EQ2 also offers full supply chain measurement and calculation.

Where an organisation has incomplete or limited data available, EQ2 can provide advanced and accepted best-practice modelling techniques to derive complete emissions inventories. EQ2 has extensive experience in both Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Input-Output (I-O) analysis.

Where only partial data is available, EQ2 can design a measurement programme to fit an organisation’s specific reporting and budgetary needs. We will identify and prioritise the most important areas for data collection improvement and work with the responsible parties to collect accurate and applicable data.
